Expiry date: December 19, 2013 PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS) (www.goldenenergymines.com) is the owner and operator of 3 producing coal projects in Indonesia, namely Borneo Indobara (“BIB”), Kuansing Inti Makmur (“KIM”) and Trisula Kencana Sakti (“TKS”). The 3 projects are comprised of 8 coal concessions that span an area totaling approximately 36.000 hectares in South and Central Kalimantan and Sumatra. One of our subsidiaries in Coal Mining is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates to fill the following position: 1. Port Manager Responsibilities: • Collect and update any information related to Customs regulations and processes • Manage the team of 8 Customs Brokers (Import & Export), with the assistance of the Customs Brokers Coordinator • Receive complete documents from PIB/PEB Department • Dispatch the jobs to the staff under his responsibility (import & export) • Monitor the process of clearance until release of the shipment • Control the costs and the settlements of the advances of the operation staff • Close the cash advances • Reports every week to head office for approval of the expenses by the 2 Business Units Managers (Sea Import and Sea Export) and final review of financial report with Treasury Manager before replenishment of funds • Supervise the trucking coordinator, in charge of all trucking operations (import/export, LCL/FCL/Breakbulk) • Intervene in case of issue with Customs Department • Update head office in case of any new customs regulation or practice • Line of reporting: Reports to GM Operations Requirements: • Minimum 10 years experience • Background in freight forwarding company or customs broker (international or large national company) • Experience in running Port Operations • Able to maintain good relationship with Syahbandar, Adpel, Comdev matters related to shipping • Good knowledge of Customs regulations • Good contacts within Customs Department 2. Senior Project Manager Responsibilities: • Accountable to lead, execute, and manage project management plans to achieve business target • Develop budget forecasting and develop strategies to reduce cost • Control actual project cost against budget. • Develop project report • To promote and maintain a safe workplace in order to ensure no incidents occur. Requirements: • Have at least Bachelor degree in Engineering • Age: 32 & up • Must have a minimum of 10+ years of strong operational experience: ideally has worked in a senior management role for 5+ years. • Experience working as a factory / operation manager medium to large size is preferred. • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis • Skills should include organizational development, personnel (100+ people) management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning. • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team. • Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems. • Strong commitment to safety 3. Engineering Superintendent Requirement: a. Minimum Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering b. Have 5 years experiences as a supervisor in open pit coal mining area or related c. Able to make plan and implementation of SHE (K3) d. Have good skills in using mining software, such as minescape or minex e. Familiar with heavy equipment f. Have POP license would be an advantage 4. Production Superintendent Requirement: a. Have bachelor degree in mining engineering or 15 years experiences in mining or related field b. Have 5 years experiences as production supervisor in coal mining company c. Able to supervise the operation process (land cleaning, coal mining, overburden removal, spreading, stock piling) d. Familiar with heavy equipment e. Have POP license would be an advantage 5. Plant Superintendent Requirement: a. Minimum bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or related b. Have 5 years experiences as heavy equipment mechanic c. Must have experience in maintenance planning, material handling, resources, and budget preparation d. Have a heavy equipment maintenance certificate 6. Planner Supervisor Requirement: a. Minimum bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering b. Have 3 years experiences in the same field c. Familiar with heavy equipment d. Have a good understanding in management process and work schedule control 7. SHE Supervisor Requirement: a. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineer or equivalent b. Minimum 5 years experiences in coal mining industry, with 2 Years experiences as SHE Supervisor c. Having POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certificate is preferable d. Have AK3 Construction Certificate e. Fluent in English both oral & written f. Well understanding about mining operation g. Good knowledge about Safety/K3 procedure and regulation, and environmental management h. Has the ability to draft health, safety and Environment (HSE) strategies, plans, programs, policies, system & procedures as well as lead, manage, and support their implementation i. Good leadership to subordinates with good interpersonal and organizational skills 8. Project Manager Requirement: a. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering b. Minimum 10 years experiences in mining with Minimum 5 years experiences as KTT c. Having Minimum POM Certification d. Understand mining operation, safety and environment (K3) e. Experience working as operation manager in medium to large size company is preferred. f. Proficient in MS office application and Mining Software (Surpac, Minescape/Minex) g. Excellent Reporting & Communication Skill h. Highly initiative person, dynamic, energetic, self-motivated and strong interpersonal skill, Able to work independently and to work under the pressure i.
